Residential kitchen,
Isle of Wight

BRIEF
An Edwardian holiday home undergoing a complete renovation. The existing kitchen had some spur walls removed to open up the space and a toilet fitted under the stair void. The client wanted several layout ideas (including possible extension) and visuals with the following requirements:
A range oven to fit into alcove thought to be historically where original stove would have been (had been walled in)
Seating for 3-4 people to provide additional worktop space/ socialising only - main eating area in adjacent dining room
Mixture of light flooring and cabinets (to lighten dark, north facing space) with darker green for interest and to match colouring elsewhere on tiled hallway floor
Large butler sink
Counter-sitting tall wall cupboard to hide dried goods and appliances when not in use
Separate, dedicated drink making area
"The images Juliette created made such a difference. They helped me visualise the space clearly and were invaluable when talking things through with our head builder. He was genuinely impressed - both in understanding the ideas and seeing how they could work in practice, which made discussing the project far easier.”
