Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern all work carried out by Livesey Design (“I”, “me”, “my”).
By booking any service, you agree to these terms.

1. Nature of Services

I provide design-led support including:

• AI concept visuals

• Detailed 3D visuals

• Layout & space-planning

• Furniture, lighting and accessory sourcing

• Room-by-room interior design

I do not provide project management, contractor supervision, or technical architectural drawings.
You remain responsible for hiring and managing trades.

2. Scope of Work

The scope for each project will be confirmed in writing (email or proposal).
Work outside the agreed scope may incur additional fees.

Designs are based on the information and measurements you provide unless otherwise arranged.

3. Measurements & Accuracy

You are responsible for providing accurate measurements and photos.

I can carry out a measured survey for clients within 20 miles of Horsham or within London, for £350 + travel, assuming 1 day is sufficient. Larger residences/ businesses may require multiple visits.

All measurements must be checked by contractors on site before any construction or purchases begin.

3D visuals and drawings are illustrative, not technical documents.

4. Fees & Payment

• A 50% deposit is required to begin work unless otherwise agreed.

• The remaining balance is due on delivery of the final design document.

• For multi-room or complex projects, fees may be split into phases.

Invoices are due within 14 days of issue.
Late payments may delay project delivery.

5. Revisions

Each service includes one round of revisions unless otherwise stated.
Additional revisions are charged at £50 per hour or an agreed fixed fee.

6. Visuals & Design Intent

AI concept visuals are for mood and inspiration only.
3D visuals show how a space could look – they are not construction drawings.

Colours, finishes and materials may appear differently in real life.

7. Sourcing & Products

Product suggestions are made in good faith.
I do not guarantee availability, suitability or lead times.

You are responsible for checking:

• dimensions

• access

• installation requirements

• delivery

• warranties

All purchasing is done directly with suppliers.

Bespoke joinery or custom furniture is costed separately.

8. Cancellations

You may cancel a project at any time by email.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
Work completed up to the cancellation date will be billed.

I may cancel a project if information is withheld, payments are not made, or the brief changes substantially.

9. Liability

I take care to provide thoughtful, accurate design advice, but:

• I am not responsible for contractor errors, delays or workmanship.

• I am not liable for losses arising from inaccurate measurements provided by you.

• I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. missed deadlines, costs of trades, product price changes).

My total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11. International Clients

Livesey Design is based in the UK but welcomes international clients for design-only services. Most work — including AI concept visuals, 3D renderings, layout planning and interior design guidance — can be carried out remotely.

Furniture and product sourcing for international projects is possible with limitations:

• I rely on the client to provide names of preferred local suppliers, stores or online retailers within their country.

• Alternatively, I can source from globally available online retailers (e.g. Amazon, Etsy, IKEA, Wayfair), understanding that availability, pricing and delivery vary by region.

• I cannot guarantee shipping costs, delivery times, customs fees, duties or taxes for non-UK suppliers.

• All products suggested must be checked by the client for local compliance (electrical standards, fire regulations, safety certifications, plug types, etc.).

• The client is responsible for verifying dimensions, access, delivery requirements and installation with local contractors.

All recommendations are provided in good faith based on information available at the time.
You remain responsible for managing purchases, local trades and any region-specific regulations.

12. Image & Content Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, all images, visuals, layouts, renders, and written content displayed on this website are the intellectual property of Livesey Design. This includes original design work, concept imagery, and AI-assisted visualisations created as part of the design process.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Sharing links to this website or saving images for personal inspiration is permitted, provided the content is clearly credited to Livesey Design.

Some imagery may depict design concepts created for private clients. These are shown for portfolio purposes only and may not be reused or replicated.

13. Client Imagery & Portfolio Use

Where photographs of existing spaces are shown (“before” images), these are included with the permission of the client for portfolio and illustrative purposes only.

Such images remain the property of their original owner and may not be copied, reused, or distributed by third parties.

Identifying details are removed wherever possible to protect client privacy.
