I look closely at how you live or work and what the space needs to do, improving awkward layouts, flow and function before developing the design in detail.
It’s a collaborative process. I’ll show you different layout options first, so we can agree the direction before moving on to furniture, lighting, materials and finishes.
Rather than choosing everything for you, I’ll create considered shortlists with purchase links, giving you clear options to choose from. The final design brings all of those decisions together into a cohesive scheme, with the practical information your contractors need to implement it.
Prices start from £3,500 per room*.
* For smaller, single-room projects, payment is split 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. Larger or more complex projects are invoiced in stages as the work progresses.

Need a little support once work begins?
For local projects in Horsham and the surrounding area, I can offer occasional site visits once work is underway, acting as an extra pair of experienced eyes when you can’t be there yourself.
I’ll check that the design is being interpreted as intended, flag anything that looks off, and feed back clearly so you can stay on top of the project without needing to be on site every day.

STEP 1 - Tell me everything!
We’ll have a detailed chat about what you want to achieve from the space and how you need it to work.
I’ll send you a questionnaire to help you think through your needs, style preferences, wishlist, budget and timings. You can also share anything useful you already have, from room dimensions* and existing plans to Pinterest boards, favourite places, saved images or pieces you definitely want to keep.

STEP 2 - I explore the options
I’ll send you a summary of our chat and the questionnaire to make sure we’re on the same page. I’ll test different layouts and look at flow, furniture placement and the practical implications of each one (lighting, electrics, plumbing). You choose the direction that feels right before we move on.

STEP 3 - I develop the full scheme
Once the layout is agreed, I develop the visual direction in detail, including furniture, lighting, colour, materials and finishes, with realistic 3D visuals to show how everything works together.

STEP 4 - I shortlist the details
You’ll receive considered options for key furniture, lighting and finishes, with purchase links, so you can make your final choices in your own time rather than being handed a fixed scheme.

STEP 5 - Final design pack
I bring everything together into a clear design pack with plans, visuals, specifications and practical notes for your contractors. From there, you and your chosen trades can implement the design at your own pace.

Trade discounts can offset a meaningful part of the design fee
I have access to trade pricing with a range of furniture, lighting and interiors suppliers. Where available, I pass those discounts on to you in full. On a whole-room scheme, the savings can often recoup a significant proportion of my fee.

A few practical notes:
Standard quotes assume ready-made furniture. Custom joinery, bespoke furniture or unusually complex items will be costed separately.
All plans are based on the measurements provided. If accurate measurements aren’t available, I can carry out a site survey in Horsham, London (and the Home Counties) at £350 per day plus travel. Larger or full-home projects may require more than one day. All measurements must still be checked by your contractors on site before work begins.
For furniture & fittings, you purchase directly from retailers or makers; I don’t routinely place orders or handle goods on your behalf *.
For simple single-room projects, payment is split 50% upfront and 50% on delivery of the final design pack. For multiple rooms or more complex spaces, fees are divided into agreed project phases.
*Optional delivery support: I can sometimes arrange to be on site to receive key furniture or fittings when you can’t be there yourself, for example during a busy work week or while you’re away. This is offered by arrangement and priced according to location and the delivery window.
